Remember When: Boeing Lined Up The Entire 7X7 Aircraft Series
From the 707 to the 787, Boeing has over 60 years of development in the 7X7 series. Some lucky travelers may have flown on all of them, but for most of us, it’s enough of a challenge simply to have seen them all. Boeing helped once, in 2016, by lining up the whole series as part of its centenary celebration. It would be great if this was a more regular event! (simpleflying.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
I've flown all of them, although not sure about the particular series; one of the earliest 737 was in India where there was just a hat rack for carry on luggage. First was a 707 with TWA from St Louis to JFK in late '59 or early '60. Spent many years as a navigator on the KC-135 which was a modified 707. Favorite has to be 787 in Business Class from Houston to Santiago, Chile.
I really wish I could have seen this in person. It would be amazing to see them all at one time
I have flown 707-100, 707-300, 717-200, 720B, 727-100, 727-200, 737-100, 737-200, 737-300, 737-400, 737-500, 737-600, 737-700, 737-800, 737-900, 747-100, 747-200, 747-300, 747-400, 757-200, 757-300, 767-200, 767-300, 767-400, 777-200, 777-300 and 787-8. That's about it.....
That is impressive! :)
Wow Thats quite a cornucopia of aircraft! Thinking back of other jet aircraft, I remember flying on TWA Convair 880s from Phoenix as a kid. Very fast but could not compete with Boeing.
Always get a Buzz when watching early Movies and see the Iconic PAN-AM 707 Landing or taking off . loved flying on the 707 , also experienced 737, 727,Also the queen of the skies 747 -300 VC-10 . would be awesome if these airshows could continue showing past history .
