Delta, United and Alaska Airlines have banned more than 900 passengers for not wearing masks
With airlines imposing mandatory mask requirements on flights amid the coronavirus pandemic, many unhappy passengers have made headlines for being removed from flights for refusing to wear a mask. And with some carriers keeping no-fly lists of passengers who violated the policy, it is now clear that more than 900 passengers have been banned from airlines because of their refusal to put on a mask. Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian said in a Thursday memo to employees that 460 people are now banned… (www.msn.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
The issue goes beyond masks or not. If the airline says "that's our rule" then the passenger is obligated to follow the rule or not fly, even if the passenger thinks the rule is stupid. Airlines are generally interested in acting in what they think is the best interest of both their companies and their customers and following the law/regulations in all its forms, because it serves them to do so. I, as a passenger, am not interested in flying with a passenger who intentionally flouts any rule, no matter how stupid they might think the rule is. If an airline has a potential passenger who has stated or acted in a way that ignores a rule, the they have every right, and even duty, to refuse them carriage. One might think that it's "my right" to carry a loaded firearm on board, but most people don't think so, and those who do simply are prevented from flying, as they should be.
well said. It is not a persons "constitutional right" or "god's given right" to do what they want in a private business, in that place of business, or in any public place that affects other people. Either follow their rules, or don't enter, don't fly.
Put simply, there are a LOT of people in this country who don't like government mandates of any kind. That is the root of all of the resistance and flouting of the rules.
So what? I don't like stopping at red lights or (often) staying below a speed limit, both of which are government mandated, but I do like the rules for pure milk, which is also a set of government mandates. This whole mask thing is a tempest in teapot and an excuse for bratty behavior by a few people. Follow the rules, or go to the ballot box and vote in people who will put in place the rules you want.
I have a name for people that think like you do..sheeple... so dependant on the government to do your thinking for you and run your life. Yes.. follow the rules.. whatever that oh so good government and media tells you to do.. how pathetic
Perhaps that's why roughly 30-40% od said sheeple follow tRump, Hitler re-incarnated.
So what you’re saying is that means roughly 60-70% of sheeple follow Democrats instead. That makes sense.
Another ignorant comment
