German air force rejects delivery of two Airbus planes

That is a tad embarrassing for Airbus.
I would be curious to know, were the bolts loose or simply not torqued to spec? (loose =removed with fingers, not torqued to spec = 475 Nm instead of 500 Nm in the callout) One is a more immediate problem than the other. Agree with Mr. Bowland in the comments, rejecting and delaying are very different steps. They will get it sorted out.
I'm confused too....
"Now, routine checks on some of the Luftwaffe's 31 planes have found "not all 24 nuts per propeller had the correct tightening torque," the air force said."
So that means the 'maintenance crew' actually loosen the nuts to find out how tight they were, and supposedly tighten them up again?
So who's to blame for loose nuts after the first inspection?

The acceptance process is very rigorous...is it a matter of outright rejecting the deliveries, or delaying them until the issues are resolved--like every other aircraft acceptance process?
Why the downvoted?? Everyone upvotes when Boeing’s Tankers get rejected
That’s just the normal number of downvotes. You could put up a squawk about an airline having the real Santa Claus on board, handing out Grandma’s original apple pie to all passengers, and you would find that a few people will downvote it.
If Santa is handing out pie on aircraft, Christmas deliveries would be late! I'd vot that down
True I did post that when the story was 2 hours old lol I jumped the gun!
