Boeing's 737 Max Bills Include $2,000 a Month to Park Each Grounded Jet
While regulators contemplate whether Boeing Co.’s 737 Max can safely return to the skies, workers in a California airplane-storage yard keep a careful vigil against earthier concerns. Crews have sealed 34 Southwest Airlines Co. jets against the Mojave Desert’s sun, wind and sand, as well as insects and birds that can creep into wheel wells and engine air inlets. The sad part about this here: Compared to rent for homes or apartments (especially apartments) in some places, it's cheaper to park a B38M or B39M than it is to live in that home or apartment.
I suggest we move to the closest MAX and run the APU for electricity.
It will also give you heat and air conditioning.
A bargain, it must cost close to that to park a car for a month on a London airport.
I wonder if that includes a detail and valet?
