It is good it has been found. It may just be manner of speaking and they should be together but the need to be reminded that there are 2 separate and distinct recorders, both the FDR and CVR.
So in a little while all the speculation and hoo-haw can be put to rest. Don't know about you, preacher1, but I'm more than ready for it...
Yeah, my money is still on a high powered updraft and slamdown though, based on how it is kinda all together or close, indicating no real breakup until it hit the water. That's just my feeling, so we'll see. I hate that so many people are dead but I am glad it has been found and not be a total disappearance like MAS370.
While I bet you are correct. I also bet that the actions of the people at the pointy end of the aircraft did not respond with what would be considered the proper reactions (duh). It will be something that for years some of the TV stations can say "if the pilots only would have..." Then, we can all play arm chair quarter back and claim what we would have done (and why if they were in a Boeing with conjoined controls the crash would not have taken place. No way I call this one an accident yet.
You may be entirely correct but one big thing to look at is if the aircraft would have done what it needed to do to break out of whatever had it, and I'm not speaking of Boeing against Airbus.
Roger that!
A gambling preacher...? ;-)
Let's call that a figure of speech. LOL
Well, there is Pascal's Wager . . .
