Asiana finds 777's systems partly to blame for crash.
They do also fault the pilots and ATC. This report from the airline, I wonder how it will match up with the NTSB report? (news.yahoo.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Nice try, Asiana...
They were feet above the ground before the stall, pretty sure no blaming the software for lack of piloting skilling won't save any face
Well they have to try something. I notice Boeing software gets top billing, but the bottom of the article also mentions inadequate pilot training. And another plug for frequentbusinesstraveller.....that makes 7 postings today (out of 15 total).
The news is fairly balanced kind.
The respondents/defendants are entitled to present to the Court(here NTSB) any and every admissible and credible argument/defence. And in turn the Prosecutors or Complainants or Plaintiffs have same rights.
Even the necessary parties, like Boeing and ATC in this case, are entitled to protect their interests in the same manner.
Without exception !
And this is what has been done, by all. Be it Asiana, or Boeing or the ATC.
The 'judgement' by NTSB will come in the form of the Report.
Which will be open to scrutiny before and by the appropriate statutory authorities.
So let us watch and wait.
