The Jumbo Jets Boeing and Airbus Turn Into Posh Private Planes
The $65 million Gulfstream G650 may be the pinnacle of the private jet market, but it just doesn’t do the job for billionaires who prefer to fly with more than a dozen or so passengers. (www.wired.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Well the King of Saudi flies to the Cleveland Clinic once or twice a year and Allah forbids, he won't leave the palace at home without his 20 to 24 wives, assorted concubines and perhaps 30 offspring and the only way to do it is the old fashion taht is onboard the biggest plane his dinars can afford so traversing the 15,000 miles or so would not be that untolerable. Pity the poor guy.
Well besides the billionaires, there is some 135 and 90 stuff mixed in there as well.
nice to dream ....
I am older than most so I remember the DC-9 Playboy jet, all black and hangared and maintained at the Purdue University Airport.
Your not that old. I remember it too. LOL
I would rather help the poor if I had that much extra cash lying around.
Would be nice to do both - why not use your giant jet home to fly to places hit by disaster, living like a billionaire should, helping others, inviting them back to your jet for medical care and a clean place for kids to play if you want. If you are donating BILLIONS surely you should be able to enjoy nice things too.
Of course, not everyone who owns large jets like these do these things- some might.

anyone who lives in America and owns a large private jet is already helping the poor by paying big taxes. Maybe they were considered poor at one time, and decided to go to work and fix that problem.
