Hobbit-themed 777 jets planned for Air New Zealand
The airline has cut a two-year deal with film studios New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to promote the two upcoming movies, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again. A Boeing 777-300 will be transformed into a flying billboard for the first movie and a Boeing 777-200 for the second movie. (www.theage.com.au) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
And I thought that it referred to the seating configuration.
Wonder if they will have a crew under 5'?

no thanks, ill skip the NZ 777s with 3-4-3 economy seating. getting squished like a sardine is not worth flying on a plane with a hobbit painted on.
Can we get somthing better then that?
based on the article, not sure who absorbs costs and for what, however, seems like such a small sliver of population that would be "into" Hobbit
