Piper Saratoga crashes into home near Jackson MS

The aircraft that is registered to the company mentioned is 717RL. Matches the type mentioned and is registered to Superior Pallet. According to FAA database it is a 1972 PA-32-300.

I was told th fuel selector could be confusing in this particular plane.
All 3 souls on board were prominent members of the Civil Air Patrol. Very sad.

No it was'nt.Fortunately 2172G is parked in the Hangar safe and sound...
The aircraft that is registered to the company mentioned is N717RL. Matches the type mentioned and is registered to Superior Pallet. According to FAA database it is a 1972 PA-32-300. Local newspaper confirms this was the aircraft.
Reg owner is not the one listed for the AC that went down. Check the news reports as the owners were not on the AC when it crashed.
