Las Vegas Airport to Be Renamed After Former Senator Harry Reid
This last Tuesday, February 16, the Clark County, Nev., board of commissions voted unanimously to begin the process of changing the name of McCarran International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas to instead by named after former Sen. Harry Reid, who served from 1987 to 2017 as party leader and whip for the Democratic Party across his long career. (theexplorerblog.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
All these naming things are silly, no matter who they are named after. Just call it "(City) International/National/Regional Airport."
Las Vegas Airport, Nevada... Not to be confused with Las Vegas airport, New Mexico?
CEEEE-FIT!!!
Why? It was already named after someone.
That someone, despite being the father of the modern aviation system in the US, was a racist jerk and anti-semite.
Chicago may as well names theirs Capone International, also! Boss Tweed International would be good for kennedy, too!
Maybe FL will rename an airport after President Donald J. Trump.
