DC10-30 engine blades found in soil Emenonville forest paris
Two bush walkers of Turkish decent stumbled on a large round aircraft turbine blades buried in the soil in the Emenonville forest which were bent and some of the blades broken last week. The find was reported to the Turkish aviation air crash team. Forensic testing had found that it was part of the Turkish airlines flight 981 which crash in the forest killing all 346 passengers and crew on 3 March 1974. I have tried to source this info from this newspaper but know event found sure you have the right paper. However strange to find after all these years the wreckage bits in the forest. This was cleaned up years ago and the engines number 1,2,3 were found and taken for tests UNLESS BY SOME SORT OF Miracle God forgive us all there were the turbine blades buried in the soil. This was also a memorial site for the victims where this DC10-30 came down so hard to believe some people found the big round blades intact.
