You just may be able to take to low orbit alongside Richard Branson this year as promised for a three hour tour - this according to Tarik Malik, managing editor of Space.com on Fox News this morning. It's just amazing that this program is running on schedule...and that Richard is now saying it may cost just a little less than the expected 250k! Lots of money, but hey...you get to go to space camp for training in zero gravity too. What a rush. I wonder what this will mean for airspace and airtraffic control rules when these flights become regular. When low orbit becomes a money maker and gets really busy it will get interesting.
