Repo wars: Russian airline's 737 grounded in Alaska over unpaid lease
As Yakutia Airlines prepared to make its last flight of the season from Russia to Alaska late last month, the world’s largest aircraft-leasing company quietly launched a court fight to repo the Boeing 737 at Ted Stevens International Airport. (www.alaskadispatch.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
That is quite interesting... If you don't pay your bills... You loose your toys...

Kevin Lacey and Mike Kennedy are very entertaining..."I swipe aireplanes foe a livin'"...I love it!
I wonder if it was Kevin or Mike who swiped this one.... Would be great to see this one on Airplane Repo.... I think it is Kevin that lives or Grew up in Canada:)

It is a very entertaining show, BUT that is NOT realistic. Aircraft repo's are actually a long, drawn-out, boring process that can tske days, sometimes weeks to complete.
Hard to show everything in a half hour show. The travel times alone could, and probably do, take days. I, for one, don't particularly like having firearms pointed at me and I wouldn't want to be a repo man of any kind. My 2nd grade teacher's husband, a retired California Highway Patrolman, took to repos after his retirement and was killed on the job.
Yeah, auto repo's are a different story, but aircraft repo's aren't any where near as "dramatic" as that show makes it out to be.
You have to make it entertaining.... Otherwise who would watch it.
I absolutely agree, but then why call it "reality" TV? Just gets on my nerves and this isn't the only show that does it, of course.
"Reality" in someone's mind... Just like Survivor is Reality.... NOT!!!
Starting with Survivor, they all suck. I just can't believe the audience they get with all the fake drama!!!
