Heh - I bet Dan Snyder will pay off a few ground crews at BWI, DCA, and IAD just to keep the first team the 'Skins beat in town so they can have a decent home record.
Ground Damage... Pretty Common... that is what you get when you hire cheap labor. When they had Mechanics doing push backs you never heard of this kind of damage... But now, the ground ops people are not nearly as careful. It is a trend that is going to continue to happen.
That's BS, back in the 80's I worked for CO at EWR. We weren't mechanics, and myself and the rest in my zone never banged an airplane.
How bout those mechanics doing ground runs with the squat switch disabled, taking out the terminal??? Blame the individual, not the group...

You and I were talking about Rick James and Mary Janes a while back, so I just assumed you were raising hell back in the 80's...
My hell raisin was in the late 60's/early 70's. I was married and working for a living in the 80's.lol
All that I am saying is that there is MORE ground damage now with Rampers that their were when Mechanics were doing the Pushbacks. It still happened, but not nearly as often.
Fair enough...
