AA Flight Attendant Has to be Restrained On-Board
Allegedly AA flight 2332 DFW-ORD had to return to the gate before takeoff, as a Flight Attendant had to be restrained after making several disturbing P/A announcements to the passengers. (blogs.dallasobserver.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
I wish this lady well...we should all support her. AA is under some pressure and AA HR should be aware that stress levels may be high in the company. Things like this are rare but they should be fully understoud by HR and that department should have a srategy in place to support stsff who become ill. God speed to her recocery.

Its been on CNN and other news networks. Looks like the flight attendant had a nervous breakdown. They got back to the gate and the entire flight attendant crew was replaced by AA before the flight continued. I would assume a lot of AA employees are worrying a lot about what is going to happen to them with AA in bankruptcy and an uncertain future.
If that video is anything to go by it's less of a nervous breakdown and more of a psychotic episode.
So, what is the difference. She lost it one way or the other.
No doubt, and other articles I have read claims she is bi-polar, go figure.
Regardless of the cause, and I'm not immune to the woman's plight, but there have quite a few airlines in bankruptcy, and employees remained professional. If this woman was so deeply affected with issues, she or her family / friends should have lent a hand and steered her into therapy. Companies all over the globe, not just airlines, are in trouble. Put on your big girl panties.
