American Airlines Passenger Dies After Eating A Chicken Dinner Claims Lawsuit
A lawsuit has been filed against American Airlines and Sky Chefs for allegedly serving a passenger, Othon Cortes of Miami, a chicken dinner that was contaminated with the deadly bacteria, Clostridium perfringens (formerly known as C. welchii) that resulted in his death. I am sorry for the death of Mr Cortes. However, I am missing the part where Mr and or Mrs Cortes sought medical attention before boarding the flight. Being seen and treated during those acute symptoms may have avoided a disastrous outcome. On the other hand, if the symptoms had been due to an infectious process, his persistence on flying would have exposed many others.
