Lima Airport To Open New Runway And ATC Tower In April
Lima's Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM) is set to open the next stage of a significant expansion and overhaul in the coming months. The airport's new Air Traffic Control Tower and a second runway are officially due to begin operations on April 1st, 2023. The facilities were completed at the end of last year and have been undergoing final checks and certification processes ahead of their entry into commercial service.
