US Airways Takes Key Step In Taking Over American Airlines
US Airways has reached an agreement to merge with American Airlines after entering collective bargaining pacts with three of the company's labor unions. The deal was largely expected after American Airlines' parent company, AMR, entered bankruptcy and US Airways expressed interest. (finance.yahoo.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
From a 2.5 mm AAL flier - UGGHHH!!! Could be time to change to DAL.:(
If they get american am saying good bye to american
Believe me....it's NOT!
Tempe, AZ.... where good airlines go to die...
That baffles me some. America West (obviously in Tempe, AZ) not only didn't die, but under Bill Franke's and now Doug Parker's leadership has not only successfully surfaced from bankruptcy, but is doing so well it's pulled US Airways out of its troubles and is now moving on to do the same with American. I'm not being flippant, but rather pointing out my confusion as to why you would say Tempe is where good airlines go to die. Could you give me your thoughts, please? Thanks.
If one of the CEO denies it then it is probably a done deal . Just ask the Delta CEO. He lied his rear end off denying Delta was merging with NWA . Turns out it was a done deal.
Oh and Keven Swiss. Don't change yet. Delta has just as many people complainng about them.
So does United or whatever they are called these days. No offense United but I really don't like your paint jobs on your planes. They look like you can't make up your mind who you want to be. Ok everyone rant is over. :)
