Train slams into downed plane in Pacoima after pilot is pulled from wreckage

Look like the heroic cops yanked the pilot out of the wreckage with about 5 seconds to spare ahead of the speeding train.

Great job by those officers. Gonna take a ton of duct tape to fix that Cessna though.

Take a look at this analysis on YouTube by a GA pilot who flies out of Whiteman regularly. The pilot of the incident a/c appears to have done everything by the book for an aborted takeoff.
