Words that come to mind: "missed opportunity" "disappointing" "lazy" I don't understand why United opted for an incremental "refresh" of it's livery when you consider the costs involved in repainting the fleet, why bother? Why not try a bold new look along the lines of what Air Canada did? Air Canada's new look is a bold departure from its previous livery while at the same time paying homage to liveries of the past by bringing back the maple leaf roundel on the tail and the black "bandit" mask around the cockpit.
Spot on; "missed opportunity"................and then there is the UNITED name on the side of the aircraft and the blue cheat stripe replacing the gold.....................it looks like a tin of 'No Frills' grocery product from the food store..........so uninspiring.
