Construction of Paine Field Passenger Terminal Begins
And so it begins; ground has been broken for the new passenger terminal at Paine Field (PAE/KPAE). It will have two gates and a peak capacity of 16 departures per day under typical turn around times. Alaska Airlines Group says they plan to operate 9 daily departures to destinations along the west coast. (www.seattletimes.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
I believe that Alaska Airlines stopped their daily flights from Bellingham to Hawaii. The main reason they had them in the 1st place was to pull passengers out of Canada to Bellingham for those flights. Westjet flies out of Vancouver to Hawaii, but that's the only know I know of up in the far north.
Its about time, Im happy as hell. My wife would be happier if one of the destinations is Hawaii.
Bellingham serves Hawaii :)
So what does nothing for Everett as SeaTac would be closer.
It's about the same drive time, but less hassle parking, less cost parking, and getting through the much smaller airport faster doesn't make it work it for you, keep on going to SEA TAC.
Maybe someone will give the Jet Deck Bar & Grill a go again! I used to love sitting there on the deck with a beer on a summer night, listening to my Icom, listening to PAE ATC's excellent direction and wit, watching aircraft pull in for fuel or come back off a adventurous flight. It could be a start to a good thing!
