One dead after plane crashed into Georgia home
A small private jet has crashed into a home about two and a quarter miles away from the end of the runway at Cobb County International Airport. Some of the residents in the neighborhood said they witnessed the plane as it came down while they were hanging out in their backyard. Very sad. 55 knots in a jet will never work. Possibly leveled off, power reduced to idle and not moved back up. If you are totally out of the loop, without power the autopilot will do all it can with elevator trim but will ultimately disconnect and hand you the airplane just about the time the spin starts. RIP.
