United E175 (Skywest 494J) Suffers Nose Gear Failure and Lands at San Antonio International
Skywest 494J operating Embraer E175 as United traveled departed Houston Bush (KIAH) enroute to Monterey MX (MMMY) and had gear problem. They also diverted the day before. I wonder if it is just a coincidence?
I'd bet it isn't a coincidence, but I don't gamble. If it is for the same reason then that brings up s whole set of new questions.
Been on this exact aircraft several times this past year, glad I dodged this flight !

N161SY...looks like first flight was in June of this year for delivery to Skywest in United Express livery. Pretty new bird.

Flightaware shows they were South of the border when they were circling, presumable to troubleshoot.
