Spokesperson for problem plagued new Berlin airport gets fired for being too honest

I suppose honesty is no longer a virtue anywhere in world.
Sounds like what happened at the then new Denver CO airport years back to a friend who blew the whistle on poor construction there. Kept it closed for six months has told me about some of the cost overruns due to poor oversight among other things.
No matter what country it is, everyone in government thinks that taxpayer money is "free" money, to spend and to waste however they want.
