Scientists found that turbulence will increase in the North Atlantic flight corridor due to climate change. A report published in the journal Nature Climate Change predicts that one effect of a warming planet is that international flights will get more turbulent by the middle of this century. Or global cooling might cause more severe icing problems if we quit flying 600 jets a day on the route.
The problem with crying wolf and exaggerating is that it lends credibility to skeptics of climate change. They should stop telling us what'll happen in 50 years because their credibility is in tatters.
I'm convinced that that changes will happen. But blantant exaggeration also means thar I can't believe these predictions anymore, especially 50-year predictions.
There isn't much trans-Atlantic turbulence damage, so twice as much turbulence (if it happens) would only be about twice as much as not much, which would still be not all that much.

Not everyone worries about it. If it happens, it happens.
I'm waiting on them to blame traffic jams on I-85 on Global Warm.....er...I mean "Climate Change". By golly we'll have to DO something about it THEN!
