Allegiant Air Has Been Forced To Ground 30 Planes Due To Compliance Regulations
Allegiant Air has been forced to ground nearly 30 of its MD80 airplanes due to the airline failing to inspect emergency slides and said it expect flight delays and cancellations as a result. That will dent the financial statement. Stranded customers on a tight budget are up the creek. Others will not be happy at having to pay for a last minute high priced fare on another carrier either.

I arrived this morning at PIE for a flight back to GRR, only to be told the flight is delayed. Yeah, it sure is! They have eight planes waiting for inspections. Looks like I have to find another way up there.
