eclipse aviation taking orders for eclipse model 550

It's good to see the business aviation sector on the upswing once again. I was at NBAA last week and the mood is definitely more optimistic. Let's hope the momentum continues. All the best to Eclipse and the other VLJ manufacturers breaking new ground.
Great day for Eclipse Aerospace Inc as the Dream Lives On:
I am the proud owner of an Eclipse 500 that I purchased in July of 2008. Eclipse is a pilots dream to fly and has the lowest maintenance of any jet ever produced with inspections required only every 300 hrs. or 2 years. There is nothing to lube on the airframe. The Auto-Throttles will make the jet complete as they are built in to all of Eclipse jets but Eclipse needs to get FAA approval to turn them on. Eclipse is the only Very Light Jet able to climb directly to 41,000 at gross wt on the hottest day of the year while burning only 60 gallons per hour (average) for the trip. The Eclipse jet is more fuel efficient than a Mustang, TBM, or PC12 while flying at almost 100k faster speed than the turboprops. No other jet aircraft is even close to that performance. Eclipse is 30k faster than the Mustang and burns approx: 30% less fuel caring virtually the same weight. I will race any Mustang anytime for any distance and win the race using less fuel. Eclipse will, once again, become the world’s best selling light jet and it will beat all VLJ competitors in virtually all categories.

Henry, I congratulate you on your proud possesion; as for the potty I hear that Eclipse has contracted with Kohler the installation of this potty which has several features including music, built-in bidet and

What this article doesn't say is that eclipse has moved production of the basic airframes overseas. While final assembly will be done in New Mexico for the time being, the company has indicated production could be moved closer to the eventual markets (read that China & India). Another mfg moving out!
Markus that is why I wonder the rationale of Robert Woody
Robert Woody that if the Eclipse drops dead i would be a shame as it would never rise to its proper place in history. Unless Markus or a close relative work for the manufacturer, I don't see any rational reason.
