pilots declaring an emergency because an electrical malfunction on an 'electric' plane; that is more than just something, that should worry people....
I was on an A319 January 2011 from Chicago to PDX and we had to land in Omaha due to electrical and hydraulic issues. Another A319 picked us up and flew us on to PDX. We were on the ground long enough for me to get down 3 double Makers on the rocks. Neither the mechanical issue or my consumption of bourbon made the news.
I hope since you were at OMA you had time for a great steak to wash down with the fine bourbon...
Dang, I'd thought that bourbon would have done the trick for sure Jack.lol
At least it was GOOD bourbon. 3 double Maker's in an airport bar'll set you back almost as much as pax fare!
Hopefully while he was on the ground and delayed the Airline was picking up the tab.lol
