American Adds Boeing 787 Flights From New York

Having flown the -300 from JFK to LHR many, many time I truly hope they don't replace it with the 787. To me, the -300 is the true flagship of AA and outshines the 787 is every possible way. Sure, it doesn't have the magic dimming windows the 787 does, or any of the other "gimmicks" but it is a beautiful and well proven craft.

I remember when they downsized the BOS-LHR route to a 757 from a 767. Let's just say quality didn't improve. For those of us who travel across the pond frequently, these smaller planes mean fewer seats up-front. 6 hours might not seem like much, but when you do it weekly and have to meet not long after landing, those business seats make all the difference.
