Pilot in tears after choir surprises him on his retirement flight:'May God hold in you the palm of His hand'
There wasn't a dry eye outside gate K5 at Chicago O'Hare airport when an American Airlines pilot was surprised after his retirement flight from Dublin, Ireland with an Irish blessing (www.foxnews.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
This is one of those success stories that we pray for each and every day. Welcome home, Sir.
Very nice. I would have joined the group to sing for the pilot.
Many years back my uncle made his retirement flight and his son, who was a pilot for another airline, was allowed to be his 2nd officer (co-pilot). I can't remember, but I think their airlines were Eastern and Delta. The passengers were served champagne and cake. I don't know, but I'll bet it wasn't just coke and sandwiches in the cockpit.
Fitting tribute.
Well done that group!
Wow! A tip of the cap to the choir and the flight attendants who made the arrangements for the choir to honor the pilot.
