FAA Tapes From That Oregon UFO Incident That Sent F-15s Scrambling
Last November, The War Zone posted an exclusive story detailing a bizarre incident involving an unidentified aircraft that transited the skies of the Pacific Northwest in the early evening of October 25th, 2017. What started as a radar target moving at very high speed over Northern California turned into a series of eyewitness accounts made by nearby airline pilots traveling northward over Oregon. Even F-15 fighters were launched to intercept the mysterious intruder that quickly became invisible… (www.thedrive.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Sorry what detail did we find in that story? We had to watch a ton of commercials leading up to nothing.
The only details were some insight into the efforts to identify the aircraft, but no actual resolution.
Article claims no transponder, but they clearly had both a squawk code (0027) and an altitude (FL370) from secondary, and those are different encodings. I think someone doesn't quite know how this works.
I think the TACAMO plane was seen orbiting
So even after 9/11 there is still no effective procedure for pilots to report a potential incursion into US airspace and more importantly no set immediate workable protocol to scramble military aircraft, (other than FAA hdq complaining over who has permission to scramble the jets) . I thought she was going to apologize for waiting, and then total inaction by HQ for scrambling any intercept A/C. Total bungling and placing blame continues....FAA
A military Gulfstream with staff, ex president or current government staff. Appears even F-15 pilots are highly trained in not seeing anything. headed north past PDX figures it was mil staff. Lots of equipment zipping back and forth around Korea that needs briefings and such. Real UFO stories come out if they accidently drop a nuke in the ocean or on land.
