JetBlue ready to launch low-cost New York to London flights

Alow-cost airline service with a brand new business class cabin, flying London to New York? As Frank Sinatra might have said: if you can make it there, in the teeth of a global pandemic when the US bars British citizens and advises its own to stay put … well, you can make it anywhere. I'll pass...

I have really valued the class of service of established line grade carriers. The thought of flying coach in their version of first class has zero appeal.

I mean, imagine Southwest, to London, England. Oh Hell No... I'd sooner walk... ;-)

But I'm sure they will get lots of tourist class people. Good for them seeing things outside of America. Too few people here have passports. We suffer from the huge size of this country. Europe benefits from having so many countries so close by.

You think you're better than those "tourist class" people? You might be a pompous, arrogant, blowhard, but none of those qualities makes you a better person.

Oh good grief...

I have flown coach, and I've flown business class. I would really rather fly the later than the former. If that makes me a bad person it your eyes, well, it's not my problem, it's YOUR problem.

Everyone on that plane gets to the destination at the same time. I'd just rather not have to chew my knees, and take 10 minutes to get the feeling back in my extremities. Many of my friends have flown JetBlue, and say they will never do it again. It's a level of care, an expectation of service that they appreciate in other carriers.

So shame me for wanting better. To be better. To be able to be treated better. I am not cattle. I am not going to submit to flying in an uncomfortable position on a plane for HOURS. Yes, I'm better than that. I could care less about the booze in first/business, I DO value the ability to stretch out, and be comfortable. I've lived too long to deny myself that. Seriously. So get off your pedestal. There isn't anything wrong with flying 'tourist class', it's just not what I'd choose to do, if I can avoid it. And I'm not better than them, and I'm sorry you feel inferior to me. If it wasn't for coach flyers, there wouldn't be a business class, so just chill, dude... Take a deep breath. Log off the computer. Go take a walk. Realize that you are just as good as I am, and keep on keeping on.
