Physical evidence comfirms the link between two Boeing 737 MAX 8 crashes
Seattle - The horizontal stabilizer of the Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 on March 10 was in an unusual position at the time of the crash. Researchers concluded this after finding a drive spindle at the crash location, according to a flight safety consultant who spoke to the Seattle Times. I think the word you are looking for is not "mendated" but "mendacious".
I thing he meant "mandated", or are you just being cute.
Interesting train of thought.
This doesn't conform anything other than the position/condition of the stabilizer. No one knows, yet, why. No cause and effec has been determined.
If you read the article, the position of the stabilizer was due to a drive spindle, So it's a strong evidence.
All the testing and people involved in certification of a new aircraft something slipped through the cracks here. Not good when 2 very new aircraft have accidents that are somewhat similar. I feel bad for the victims can’t imagine what they went through during the accident.
Needless to say a hole definitely exist on Ethiopian’s training programs... but, of course, a bigger hole exists on Boeing’s human-machine-interactive design and automation related computer systems... lets hope they can fill the holes as soon as possible because I want to see that winglet flying again!
