The Hierarchy works differently in that part of the world. The previous crew should have written up the aircraft as an uncommanded stab trim movement and maintenance should have contacted Boeing immediately for a discussion on this issue on such a new plane. Pilot training plays an important part in this as well, as any uncommanded stab trim movement (especially of over 9 seconds) requires immediate action by manually trimming and/or shutting off the stab trim via the provided emergency stab trim cutout switches. MCAS equipped or not? Did I miss something?
