Nice plane but $700K guess they don't want to sell many

Here is an interesting fact about this bird - At least part of the aircraft is being built in Mexico and the FAA does not currently have the staff to certify the Mexico plant - thus delaying the delivery of the aircraft until sometime in 2012. I can not understand why Cessna would do this given all the unemployment here in the U.S. Maybe they plan to sell a lot of the airplanes to the new middle class in Mexico.

Cliff good point about the MX plant they closed the plant in Bend Oregon in hopes to save money. The have closed down other lines in the USA to send the work to MX. Only to have them build the entire plane and have Independance hang the wings. Now if I recall reading on here several months ago Cessna had a wing out of the MX plant delaminate in the testing they were doing, I don't recall reading a single story when the airframes were built by americans. But Cessna doesn't care that they are running off their new customers with poor made out of country built aircraft.
