Spirit first A321NEO delivery
Yesterday, May 19th 2023, Spirit Airlines took delivery of its first Airbus A321-271NX. N702NK built as SN 11328 will become ship 6702 in Spirits fleet. The aircraft departed from Airbus’s facility in Hamburg, XFW around 1145am making a tech stop in Keflavik, KEF after a 3hr first leg. About an hour later, the aircraft made a 6 hour second leg arriving at Spirit’s Detroit metro, DTW base a little after 4pm local time. No, too bad. AFAIK, Spirit's neo orders are 100 % for the P-W GTF powerplant. As are Hawaiian.

I WISH THEM WELL..PEOPLE WANT CHEAPER FARES ONCE AGAIN,AND COMPETITION IS GOOD..THE ONE THING NEEDED MOST HOWEVER IS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVIC AND GOOD PEOPLE..THATS WHAT BRINGS CUSTOMER LOYALTY..

Anyways, Spirit is an all time example of you get what you pay for. You want cheap bare bottom fares? It comes with less on time reliability, less customer service and less bells and whistles.
You want all those things? Then pay more, and go fly Delta.
