1 or 20 what difference is that going to make??? 1 bird is going to stop the turbine from working isnt it???

Not necessarily. I have inspected engines where, after cleaning out the mess, there was no significant damage, the engine was returned to service and flew until the next scheduled overhaul with no problems.

I have also seen the same type of engines that ingested the same type of bird that were basically scrap.
