Any one consider the fact... the badge could had been under the jacket or shirt of the employee?
Has there been any release of information in regards to identifying the individual? I read one article that said they believe the person is a ramper but was not assigned to that area.
It just all sounds fishy to me.
"Unauthorized access and bomb threat drill anyone?"
"Sure! Raise the threat level to orange for the next few weeks!"
I know I know, overly conspiratory :D
But then again I do not have a high regard for D.H.S.
Who's to say the guy wasn't a Fed. Agent? Okay, I know I know, overly conspiratory again.
In all seriousness though, is security this bad at major U.S. airports that they can't identify the individual? Don't they have cameras?

Rob, this guy was not a ramp agent. I saw Customs squad deep escorting him later in the day. He looked like he was wearing the uniform of our contractor that cleans the aircraft. So maybe he changed his shirt. This happened on the same flight last year as well. I don't know if it was the same guy. But I'm glad my co-workers (I work with these particular guys/gals every night) decided to challenge the guy.
