VietJet receives world’s first 230-seat A321
Vietnam low-cost carrier VietJet Air has taken delivery of a high-density Airbus A321 aircraft equipped with 230 passenger seats. The airline says this is the first A321 equipped with this seat density. The A321 had previously been restricted to 220 seats and central European budget airline Wizz Air will also be taking the high-density A321 later this year. You got girlfriend Viet Nam ? Well baby, me love you long time.
Looks like passenger safety has again be relegated in favour of profit.
Is'n't it time there was a general safety regulation re minimum leg reach and the ability to enter end exit any seat without having to bend double.

The words "greater comfort" and maximum convenience" should never be allowed in the same article with the words "230 pax on an A321". As our society becomes increasingly larger, the LLC's jam them into tighter spaces......never mind the dogfights that will take place over bin space. Jeez
Don't forget Ryanair is still pressing for "stand-up" seats even though they will never be allowed.
Gonna be a deal when the planes go to wizz air and then come here to Frontier.
Frontier is next... http://aviationblog.dallasnews.com/2015/06/stacking-them-deep-and-selling-them-cheap-frontier-airlines-to-put-230-seats-on-new-airbus-a321s.html/
If it stays over there and primarily hauls the oriental people because generally they are smaller and they can gain the room without inconveniencing their pax too bad. Wouldn't ever work over here. Plus, flights are fairly well short so should not be a deal.
