Emirates to bring Airbus A380 to Dallas/Fort Worth
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport CEO Sean Donohue announced Thursday that Emirates Airline will fly the world’s biggest passenger airplane, the Airbus A380, on the Dubai-D/FW route. That solves the mystery of which airline was responsible for the airport’s decision to remodel Terminal D gates to handle the A380. Emirates will begin flying the A380 here on Oct. 1. Oh joy. Lufthansa had to put the A380 into DFW recently and everyone was
gaga" as they rolled out the stairs and people began pouring out. Weather in IAD forced this latest visit by the A380 & thankfully it wasn't raining.
