Some pilot tells about terrible problems in russian aviation. And not only old aircrafts.
Аir companies sends 2 pilots instead of 3 for long flights. It's unsafe.
3 pilots only on flights to USA, otherwise aircraft will be arrested by USA authorities.
In aircrafts with 8 emergency doors there are only 6 stewardesses. So 2 doors will be without qualified person to open and provide passengers evacuation.
And so on and so forth.
This is Russian kind of saving and revenue maximizing.

I'm trying to figure out why AP headlined the story "Boeing plane crashes in Russia, 50 believed killed" http://news.yahoo.com/boeing-plane-crashes-russia-50-believed-killed-171055373.html
Is there some reason why AP would want to direct attention and focus to the manufacturer? We don't do this with other transportation accidents, do we? I can't recall ever seeing "GMC Bus Crashes" or "Bombardier Train Derails" or anything like that, so why on this story?

AP is merely a reflector for a Russian news agency that is attempting to lay blame on an external entity. It is an ingrained desire to protect "Mother Russia."
Unfortunately, you are confusing Russian People and persons, who seized power in Russia at present. These people have in mind only the power and money. They do not stop at the deaths of hundreds and thousands of people for their own benefit.
It's pretty rare for a western plane to crash in Russia. Usually it is an old TU, YAK or IL. Even then, it was a older generation (western) aircraft. Russian media likely trying to point the finger, forgetting the guys flying the plane may have had a role...

God have mercy for travelers in Russia.
