Why to buy a Beech Duke
Humorous video from a member of BeechTalk on the not so popular Beech twin. (www.youtube.com) Más...And they didn't even talk about the door seal issues...
Not so popular?
the Duke is the best looking airplane ever made!
it's a funny video..

Oh don't get a massive best looking plane ever made debate going on in here..........
I happen to think that the Navajo is the best looking light twin ever made...lol
I second that on the Navajo :)
what do yall think are the best light twins?
58P Baron
I like the ride of the 58P alot, but the looks of the DUKE is just something else.
I would have a tough choice between the 2. The last 58P that I flew on, we were coming in on an approach that the runway was slanted down (not a good picture already), with the other end going off a 400 foot embankment. In the flare (before touch down) the CoPilot raised the flaps to improve Breaking Efficiency and blew both main tires. I am in the club seating looking towards the back of the plane when it turned around 180 degrees heading down the runway, and now I am looking at where we are going and the pilots are looking at where we were. We finally got stopped, and when I opened the back door, it was over the edge and too far to jump.. Exited through the front and the front of the wing...
I had all my video gear to shoot the airshow we were going to show off the plane at (Brand New, less than 10 hours Total Time) and WOW, did we make a show... A lady asked me if I got any video of it, and I told here I was too busy holding on for dear life... Probably the only time in my life I wasn't looking for the perfect picture.

Sparkie.......that is what i call Nuckin Futts!
....and why does it seem like you always hear of things breakin on new ships!? whud up with that?!
Well...... Research and Development can't see everything that we get into... They cover a lot of it... But some of it is wait and see.
That is what I call Pilot Error :) Only that broke were 2 main tires.... Not even any damage to the Wheel Hubs, or side load on the gear.
