AA Flight Attendant Has to be Restrained On-Board
Allegedly AA flight 2332 DFW-ORD had to return to the gate before takeoff, as a Flight Attendant had to be restrained after making several disturbing P/A announcements to the passengers. (blogs.dallasobserver.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
I flew as well at one point.. EITHER way .. Everything was fine.. It was an ODD ISOLATED INCIDENT.... I hope she is taken care of and recovers and can get back to work... How humiliating and scary for all....
Also technically and Psychologically Speaking there is no true DEFINITION of a NERVOUS Breakdown . Yes it was definitely an Manic Psychotic Episode......for sure..... Poor Baby.... Get Well and Back in the Air when you are ready to fly again.....I hope they are supportive.. Only time will tell......Personally from this isolated incident, I thin it would reflect poorly on AA if they did not Back and Support her Recovery and Career...... Crew are Family and STICK TOGETHER!
I've been told that one "Awe S**t" cancels ten "Atta Boys". This blog sounds about right.
Support? She snapped sorry labor disputes or not U don't get to Yell Fire!

Who writes this drivel? It's no longer alleged when it's a confirmed fact. It happened. Stop playing lawyer and CYA. Report the facts and leave the ginger bread alone.

Sadly, newspapers editorialize.
Yea, but we let them get away with it.
Heard of freedom of the press?
Freedom from the government not from me or you
No idea what point you're trying to make.
Freedom of the press refers to freedom from government reprisal ie the First aAmmendment of the Bill of Rigts not criticism by the citizenry. Editorializing the news is unacceptable to me and should be to you. There is a place for editorials but it's not page one.
That's exactly why cities typically have at least two newspapers, each one with their own views of an issue. Not only is there a place for editorializing, but it's a necessity in assisting people to view an issue from both sides. Are you opposed to any opinion other than your own? Read all the issues and then make up your own mind which you believe in. You're giving me the idea that everything in your life is your way or the highway.
WE have different views certainly. I have viewed the news pages as just that. the editorial pages are clearly labeled as editorial. When I read of an Air France airplane falling out of the sky I don't expect to read the authors opinion of whether or not the PIC should have been taking a nap. In that regard it's my way or the highway. If I don't like the way you write and I bought a news paper I have the right to complain. The Government does not.
I think all he means is that news papers should report the news in the news section. Save the opinion for the editorial section. Opinions are like you know what and everybody has one.lol
I understand his intent, James. Newspapers since the beginning of time have had not only the right but the obligation to report an issue from its point of view. It's almost impossible to write without inserting one slant or another. We are intelligent enough to read both sides of an issue and decide for ourselves which we believe to be the right way. Personally, I find it stimulating to have a devil's advocate present. It makes one think about the issue from different perspectives - which I believe is healthy. Not everyone does. But I don't call them wrong for their preference. It's their right.
I'm not adverse to opinion and getting different sides to a story. That is when I read editorials or watch O'reilly or others. But when I want the news, that is all I want. Tell me what happend (just the facts maam). And usually when it is real news the facts are few and an opinion would be dramatizing at that point.
So your point is your preference to where you read the other side of the story. This is getting pretty silly.
Not. My only point is that to me news is just that, news. The editorials or opinions of the news are an entirely different stage. Just me. Have a good one.
