it was a sad day when she was lost.
Was that the one crashed near Napierville, IL? I had ridden on Aluminum Overcast many years ago. I have more pics of this somewhere.
engine fire led to a forced landing near Napierville and it burned in the field.
In my past life I was a b17 pilot, :-) I love these and DC3.
