As many of you know, the Mars aircraft are sea-planes...(flying boats). They most certainly are not "amphibians" like my Lake 200).
That means they have no landing gear. That means they can only get in and out of water by flying into or out of it! Since they have no landing gear, unlike an amphibious aircraft, they require a crew with "beaching gear" (in the case of a monster like the Mars...LOTS of crew (and VERY heavy duty equipment..!) to get onto dry land.
Bottom line - how on earth are they going to get the thing to the Pima Museum? Same way they moved the Spruce Goose around...? Wait for it to rain heavily in that area....?
We who have inquiring minds (and some exposure to water ops...!) want to know! Tell us...!
