Air Canada hopes to conclude CSeries deal soon
"Subject to final documentation and satisfaction of conditions, we look forward to firming up the order soon," Air Canada CEO Calin Rovinescu said today during a conference call with analysts, according to Reuters. That news came a day after Bombardier announced that U.S. carrier Delta Air Lines Inc. had agreed to buy up to 125 of the CSeries jets, the biggest order yet for the program. If the Feds and Quebec each put up one Billion, undoubtedly they both want to see their "investment" secure. While Air Canada has been privatized, it is a safe bet they heard from both governments suggesting that to buy Canadian would be good for their relationships.
I agree canuck44
I also agree with the motives of the Canadian government
The c series appears to be a great product and I am sure both air Canada and delta got a steal of a price on these birds. Win win win
