Short Landing in Germany

Wow, when I posted this a "duplicate" squawk a month ago, all you guys did was complain...
Airplane doesn't care if a pilot is a "she", "he", or "other". It's all about flying. If she could not make out that runway, in that weather, she should have gone around. Darn it but I wish it hadn't been a "she".
I read the story and the author said "he", I think. Don't be fooled by German names.
It is confusing but he does say both in the article. If you reread and clseley he does settle on SHE and gives her full name
