United Airlines Nears Leasing Deal for 36 Airbus A321neo Jets Amid Boeing 737-10 Uncertainties
United Airlines is on the verge of leasing over thirty-six Airbus A321neo jets, as per Bloomberg News, leveraging sources familiar with the discussions. The move comes as United seeks alternatives to the yet-to-be-certified Boeing MAX 10 aircraft, initially anticipated to become a fleet mainstay this year. So, it seems like a lot of "errors" occurring for Boeing lately. With all of these other airlines giving up on Boeing and switching to AirBus, is causing me to wonder if it's bad business/engineering at Boeing, or a planned "switch" to planes only made by the European giant? Just seems like a lot all at once.
Not sure if it was a planned switch or not, I doubt it, but it was a deliberate change in workforce processes and people! It's called DEI, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion! I'm sure you've heard of it! It's destroying America from the inside out.
The problem isn't just Boeing. It's also United. Maintenance with United is absolutely garbage. It should have been self-evident by now given the half a dozen major issues that United aircraft had. US carriers are a joke.
Airbus is booked until 2030. Maybe if Boeing gets its act together, it can get the 737-10 certified relatively soon. Oh yes, and change its focus to quality control vs. quick profits.
