Great to see this and wonderful aircraft.. brilliant move in my mind to name it Sir Freddie Laker!
Not bad Norwegian to do it with the Max edition, but Westjet has been hopping a 737 across the Atlantic for a couple years now.

I was under the impression it would have a different aircraft designation... 73M was my assumption but I was clearly wrong
Unfortunately, and until their list is revised, 73M is the designation of 737-200 Combi.
To have IACO keep same classification name as NG737, I think may lead to screw-ups but that's my opinion.

IACO doesn't even have anything yet... there's a reference to the 8 and 9 Max's as BBJ and they're just B738 and B739's...
I think WestJet's leg is shorter.
Not by much..approx 358km shorter..but still done in a non Max 737
