Hundreds of Pilots Poised to Leave Allegiant Air

You might not be, but the Asian airlines are big time and for big money and low taxes. While this switch is not suitable for many, the pool of available ATP pilots in the USA will continue to diminish given the FAA minimum requirements to sit in the right seat and the retirements at the other end. That will make the market good for existing pilots but big trouble for the regionals as they get bled out. I would expect those that can move on will do so for they can start at the top in Asia.
